OUCH!When I went into work on Thursday I found that I was getting a new room so rather than set up my room I had to move out all the stuff from one room to another. I spent two days of my own time (and PAID a friend to come) before the first day that teachers have to report in and I still am soooo far from being ready. Tuesday I have one more day and Wednesday the kids come in. I'm in trouble!
Oh girl, this sucks. Seriously? I can't believe some of the unfair situations teachers are put in at their own expense. Does your union do anything or have any rules about this? They must!
ReplyDeleteThe union guy we had before used to say not to come in on our own time. He said do not do work at home, but that is impossible. Our new union rep was at work on Thursday too!
