Sentayehu and I went to a fund raiser for orphans today that was held by our adoption agency. We had a good time - especially when we won the prize we wanted - a basket of African stuffed animals and books. I was so surprised to have won. Here is a picture of the loot.
At the event there was Korean dancing. Sentayehu, ever the dancer, wanted to participate but was too small. There were beautiful feathery fans and small drums with sticks which she REALLY wanted to play with. At one point the dancer picked her up and was holding her which I guess is why she felt she had the RIGHT to walk right through all the other children and sit on her lap at the end when the group pics were being taken.

Such a fun update & congrats on winning the door prizes! It's amazing what happens when we put an idea out into the ether & then forget about it how it comes back joyfully! I bet Taye is having fun with everything too! My favorite photo is now of you both walking on the shore in the water, such a lovely photo. Surely a must frame! Sounds Like Taye will have to start taking Ballet classes eventually!Wonderful development exercise for a child too-- but then she might prefer hip hop or modern jazz! XOXOXO
