Introcuding .... Sentayehu Zion Rain

I waited to post her picture until I got her home because the Ethiopian government has strict rules about posting children who are not yet legally adopted and I didnt want to take any chances. So ... she is awake right now playing in her pack and play next to my bed. We are both off a normal day and night schedule due to the time difference and activity once we got home. She is tired but I am trying to let her play and then go back to sleep and wake up at a more normal hour. I have many pictures from the trip which I will blog about and post in a more orderly fashion. Enjoy the looking.

Bargain Shopping Mama

I know some of you are asking for me to post the baby's pic, but I am a little nervous to do that until after I get her. Technically I am legally her mother, but I would feel better waiting till I get home so - just wait a few weeks and you will see her.

In the meantime - I am frantically getting her rooms ready. Here are a few bargains I found at Target and (my fav) Dollar Tree (wall decals - $1 per sheet - nice touch and match so well).

I am still waiting for someone to come and get the stove. My bro is supposed to pick up the crib for me. The rest of the furniture is at my mom's house being repainted.

Passed Court

Ok! Today was the big day. I got an email from my agency telling me that I have passed court. I will be back in NY with the baby before the end of this month! I am so excited, but also feel so unprepared. I have a 1000 things to do before I leave ... so many plans to make. I will keep you updated. AHHHHHH!
