Martin Luther King Weekend

This weekend was pretty good. Friday evening Sentayehu and I went to Ikea and I got some good deals on things that I had wanted for a while for the kitchen. Then we came home and relaxed. I watched some TV and read. Then Saturday morning we went to Manhattan to meet a friend and her daughter. They came to spend the weekend together with us. We drove out to my mom's house and had a birthday party for Dunia. My neice and nephew and my friend's niece and nephews came as well as another friend. A good time was had by all. Then we headed back to my apartment to go to bed. Church in the morning. We drove to Easton, PA to spend a night in a hotel with a swimming pool. The girls enjoyed the water. More swimming in the morning after a great all you can eat hotel breakfast. Finally we went to the Crayola Factory to see how crayons and markers are made (and played with). I would highly recommend this place to anyone with children. However, that being said. I will not be taking Taye there again till she is a bit older. She really could not enjoy it. She eats crayons and paper, prefers crawling to walking and is basically too young for art projects. However, this was all about Dunia so it was good.
